Preserving the Wadawurrung Language for Future Generations

As part of the United Nations International Year of Indigenous Languages, DELWP aims to promote and preserve First Peoples’ Languages in Victoria. We spoke to Uncle Bryon Powell, a respected Wadawurrung Traditional Owner and Elder, and his niece Stephanie Skinner about the importance of First Peoples’ place names and the importance of preserving the Wadawurrung language.
